The World’s Most Remote Music Festival – Traena, Norway

Traena, Norway

Set on a group of islands adrift in the Arctic Ocean, it could be the world’s most remote music festival

Sometimes it’s good to get away….and sometimes it’s even better when your remote destination has some cachet to it in the form of a music festival. The Traena Music Festival in Norway is now four years old and going strong. Set all the way up in the Norwegian Arctic, you’ve got to be a serious music devotee to pay for the trip and the £6 can of Heineken beer.

Wyndham Wallace tells us how this year’s event was a magical one in: Norway’s festival on top of the world.
